Observations From Behind Bars

Wildlife Refuge

with one comment

If it seems that I spend a lot of time tramping around behind a bird watcher, there’s a reason for that, I do. It’s alright, though, it has its rewards.
This past Sunday I scootered Jill out to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, near Austwell, TX. The sun was out, the wind down and the temperature somewhere in the fifties, Fahrenheit.  It’s always good to get out and I love the winter colors of nature, in my part of the world.
Soon enough it will be spring and I’ll be forced to go to motorcycle rallies where shiny motorcycles and customized women obscure the scenery, so I’d best live it up while I can.

Here are a few pictures we took. As they said to Peewee Hermann, enjoy yourself.

  1. Actually, Michael, I believe what they said to Peewee was, “Stop enjoying yourself!” lol

Looks like it was a good “winter” outing.
